dj jemDJ Jem was born and raised in Evanston, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago. As a kid, he followed in the footsteps of his dad, and fell in love with the sound of music. At the age of 15, Eric Sampson started his career as a DJ Jem. He expanded his knowledge in all types of music, such as: dance, pop, rock and Hip Hop.

When DJ Jem reached the age of 21 he made the switch from amateur to professional, and became one of the elite dj’s in Chicago. In his career and life, Jem looks up to some of the best in the business including close friend, Paul Blair A.K.A DJ White Shadow.

Not only is he a beast on the tables, his production skills are taking off at a rapid pace; producing DJ edits for well know site like crack4djs. He is also producing a new pop group called The Radioaktives along with fellow friend DJ Broadway Streetz. This groups Fuses club bangers, hip-hop anthems, and a touch of house with an original flavor. DJ JEM has ripened and plans to take the nation by storm!
